Dr. Grace Yu grew up in Plano, Texas and is a Texas native through and through! She graduated from Rice University with a double major in Biology and Psychology and received her medical degree from Texas A&M School of Medicine. She subsequently completed her pediatrics residency at Baylor Scott and White McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple, TX. There, she received awards in gastroenterology and endocrinology, and was part of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Yu has a passion for partnering with families to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for children from infancy to young adulthood. She has a heart for whole person care and strives to work with families as a team to meet each child’s unique personality and medical needs.
Dr. Yu has been practicing as a pediatrician in the North Austin area since 2020. She is excited to be part of Austin Health Partners and to serve the Georgetown community.
When not at work, Dr. Yu enjoys spending family time with her husband, daughter, son, and new puppy! She can be found cooking, sipping milk tea, watching Disney movies, or cheering on the Dallas Mavericks. She also enjoys participating in church activities, navigating escape rooms, and exploring the vibrant Austin outdoors and food scenes.
